The 39th Edition of IIJS Premiere, organized by Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council(GJEPC) concluded with a huge response resulting in its highest ever business of more than Rs. The trade generated over Rs. The world's second-largest gem & jewelry fair, the JIO World Convention Centre (3-7 august) and Bombay Exhibition Centre at NESCO Goregaon (4-8 august), had over 50,000 visitors.
The IIJS Premiere, a paperless and digital event, hosted 3,250 stalls with 1,850 exhibitors on an area of more than 70,000 sq. The two venues combined have an exhibition space of over 70,000 sq. m. More than 2100 visitors came to the event from 65 different countries including USA, UK UAE, Australia Canada New Zealand, Fiji Saudi Arabia, Qatar Iran, Muscat Italy, Bangladesh Bahrain Kuwait Germany, Turkey, Singapore Thailand Vietnam Cambodia Sri Lanka and more. The event was elevated to an international level by the presence of 16 host delegations. Over 25 hotels in Mumbai were booked with 10,000 rooms for visitors and exhibitors! It was a multi-national event with exhibitors from seven countries and an Italian pavilion at the Machinery section.
